I'm a freelance photographer with +30 years experience from the Faroe Islands, an archipelago located between Scotland, Norway and Iceland, currently living in Aarhus, Denmark.

I have a master's degree in Documentary Photography from Høgskulen i Volda, Norway (2020). I studied under the supervision of Stuart Franklin, Magnum photographer and ex Magnum Photos president, and Anders Nilsen, photojournalist and lecturer at Høyskolen Kristiania in Oslo.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Online Journalism at Danish School of Journalism, Aarhus, Denmark (2013), and I have worked for more than 20 years in the field of journalism as reporter and Online Editor at Faroese Broadcasting Corporation.

For two semesters, I have been employed as visiting professor and lecturer at the Faculty of News Media and Journalism at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, the highest ranked university in Poland since 2000.

On a daily basis, I am working as General Manager and Head of Human Resources for the National Church in Denmark and also as contracted photographer for The Norwegian News Agency, NTB.

Currently, I am working on a documentary photography project about foreign women married to men in the Faroe Islands which (hopefully) will be published in 2023-2024.
